95 - ennis to galway

The River Fergus and the 17th Century gentry house we stayed in

Early morning Ennis

Poulnabrone Dolmen
a portal tomb in The Burren dating back thousands of years

A fairyfort in the The Burren.
The white witch of the area ties white ribbons
to the tree stump as prayers and blessings for the locals.
One is not to step in the middle of the fort out of respect for the fairies.

Some of the gang

Beautiful day at the Cliffs of Moher!

Saint Bridget's Well
is a place where the community in the area
goes to remember and pray for loved ones.
Particularly, she was the patron saint of eyesight.

Lahinch Beach - where the Irish surfers go

Again. . . somewhere along the coast between Lisdoonvarna and Galway

Making wishes in the well at a leprechaun's house (or so they claimed)

Galway Bay
