Dear Valentina and Theo,
What a day Beppe had while you were away!
He greeted his companion for the day at the door with enthused curiosity. (Given the fact that they had just met the day before and since he has had so many recent changes in his little life, curiosity is to be expected...)

But Beppe takes everything with a happy-go-lucky attitude and a confident stride. After all, he is a New Yorker to the core and a dog about town!
After determining that said companion was fit to accompany him on his Sunday stroll,
they set out.

Not without small incident, however, in which Beppe, in all his "andiamo"induced excitement, slipped out of his dashing red collar with the suave dexterity of Houdini himself (What a cheeky dog!) and bounded down two floors of apartment steps at impressive speed. When simply shouting his name did not stop the rebellious lad, his companion was able to regain young Beppe's attention with the use of the squeaky chicken toy. What a save!
Off they went...
Today Beppe was going to take his companion to the portion of Central Park known as Strawberry Fields where together they would honor the late and great musician, John Lennon by visiting the Imagine mosaic...

... and jamming with the local musicians. (Beppe and this guitar player showed a real kinship for one another and the new friend dubbed the musically-inclined visitor the "reincarnation of John Lennon."

Beppe also showed his appreciation for the harmonica by taking up a session with another local musician (and graciously placing fifty cents into his Dixie cup as a thanks for the kind gentleman's hospitality.)

Onward! The day continued with a walk along the lake to revel in its tranquility and the beauty of nature in Spring. Of course, along the way there was a little of this...

(Well, a lot actually.)

And when his energy had expired and his troublesome cough seemed to be harkening him indoors, our beloved Beppe returned to his chateau having become worldlier for the day.

And a little worn out.
