Every work day on my walk from the subway to the office (and back) I pass Jacques Torres Chocolates. The shop has wide windows through which passersby can see the creation process from start to finish -- when the chocolates are prominently displayed. Before the holidays the windows were full of gorgeously made figures. This afternoon there was only one snowman left...
