wettest june on record

It is speculated that when this month is over, it will be the wettest June NYC has ever seen.

This Central Park horse is not impressed by the puddles he's been standing in.

(Could be he is a bit disgruntled with his job in general...)

I'd say the Central Park ducks like it though.

beginning over again with the summer

"And so with the sunshine and the great bursts of leaves growing on the trees, just as things grow in fast movies, I had the familiar conviction that life was beginning over again with the summer."
- F. Scott Fitzgerald, The Great Gatsby

Luckily, I can't see the ticker when I'm sitting at my desk.
Absolutely love facing a window though.

I also face these bookshelves. A major plus of working in publishing!
